1500 mg of Salt Challenge

I tried to consume less 1,500 mg of salt (or less) today. I've been tracking my calories with MyFitnessPal, and my sodium consumption is unhealthily (is that a word?) high. Where did I get 1,500 mg from? -

I did not accomplish this Mission today. BUT. I think with my striving to stay at or below 1,500 mg, I stayed below 2,300 mg. This 2,300 mg is an improvement from previous days' sodium consumption. See my sodium consumption from 9/9 to 9/15 -

  • 9/9/2016 - 4,036 mg
  • 9/10/2016 - 3,230 mg
  • 9/11/2016 - 4,642 mg
  • 9/12/2016 - 3,805 mg
  • 9/13/2016 - 3,885 mg
  • 9/14/2016 - 3,002 mg
  • 9/15/2016 - 2,523 mg
This will be a Mission that I will keep working on. I'm actually kind of annoyed and mad at how much sodium is in food. Just going through today, and looking at food labels, there is a high amount of sodium in a lot of foods. I encourage you to look closely at food labels and see how much sodium you're consuming. 

It looks like I'll be adding a lot more fruits and vegetables to my meals, which I should have been doing anyways.
