Measuring Food Intake

I've been using an app called MyFitnessPal to track my calories every day. When logging food into MyFitnessPal, you have to input the quantity of food you're eating.

I love cottage cheese. It's my favorite food right now. Before measuring how much was a serving of 1/2 cup, I'd guesstimate. After measuring, I see that this guesstimate was too high.

It takes some extra work to measure everything and it gets annoying too. But just going to the fridge/cupboard and eating an unmeasured amount got me to the weight I'm at today. Measuring my food out now will help me to get under 200 lbs.

If you're trying to lose weight, measure your food!
