Getting Clothes Ready to Donate

I was going through my clothes the other night, and I found some clothes to donate. The count right now comes to 7 t-shirts, 2 long-sleeve work shirts, and 2 pairs of jeans. Out of the t-shirts, there is 1 that I have never worn, and many that I haven't worn for a long time. The long-sleeve work shirts (former work) are in good condition, but I won't ever wear them again. For one, they're denim long-sleeve shirts, and two, I don't want to be reminded of where I used to work. The jeans are in decent shape, but have a few holes. I will have to check and see if these are donate-able.

There is a Salvation Army, Goodwill, and other thrift store options here where I live. I will visit one of these options this weekend to donate these clothes. It should be a pretty easy process to drop the clothes off. I am washing them one last time, just to be considerate of whoever wears the clothes next.

The good news is that I'm making strides to getting rid of clothes. The bad news is that I still don't have all of my clothes in my apartment yet. I looked through the rest of my clothes I have with me here, and there isn't anything that I view immediately donate-able. I think there will be a time in the future for some pieces of clothing, but nothing that stood out to me right now. I will have to come up with a plan, maybe every 3 months to review my clothes. Having a complete inventory on all of my clothes will help too! (You can read about my shirt inventory here - Shirt Inventory)
