Investing Update 1/13/2017

I checked my Robinhood portfolio this week, but I didn't look at anything too in depth this week. I knew I wasn't going to be buying or selling anything. Plus, I've been taking care of a lot of real life errands/projects.

This Week's Stock Purchases

I did not buy any new stocks this week!

Upcoming Stock Purchases (Probably)

  • Ford - I know, I know. I can't make up my mind if I want to keep it.
  • Xcel Energy
  • Visa
  • Great Plains Energy Inc
  • McDonald's - Maybe...there was speculation of a stock split, and it'd be cool to be in on that.

Dividend Stocks
  • I currently own 32 dividend stocks
  • 31 of those stocks pay dividends 4 times/year = 124 payments
  • 1 stock pays dividends 12 times/year = 12 payments
  • Total dividend payments needed to get paid "Every Other Day" - 183
  • 183 - 124 - 12 = 47
  • 47 more payments needed or approximately 12 more dividend stocks.
I am able to buy so many different stocks due to not paying commission fees, thanks to the trading app called Robinhood. If you want to learn more about Robinhood, click here

You can click on the investing tab or here to see what stocks I currently have in my Robinhood portfolio.
