I have a cold and it's annoying. I feel that getting a cold is inevitable during this time of year. I believe that the temperature changes, reduced sun, the looming winter, and increases in stress are what cause colds around later September/early October.
I ate a lot of Oranges last fall and I don't really remember getting sick. I haven't been eating oranges this year, and now I'm sick. Sleep, rest, exercise, and nutrition are all things to help prevent sickness. I know these things and I've heard them for years. Why don't I listen to them? Maybe because I've gotten by with sleeping too little, not exercising enough, and not eating the right foods. As I'm getting older, maybe it's going to start catching up with me?
For me, traveling wears me out, and especially in the fall. I don't know what it is, but the combination of the temperature changes throughout the day and the odd angles of the sun wear me out. I feel super exhausted after traveling in the fall versus the summer and winter. I think it's important for me to make sure I'm using these next few weekends to get rest and not run around and travel.
I always take for granted feeling well until I don't feel well. If you're not sick right now, enjoy it!
