Three summers ago I ran all summer, and I lost a bunch of weight. I remember getting my health checked at work for insurance reasons. My pulse was so low that the nurse was very surprised. I was in really good health that summer and I need to get back to that again. I've been thinking about the difference between summer of 2013 and summers 2014, 2015, and the start of this summer.
Back in the summer of 2013, I was just getting out of a 4 year relationship, and needed to distract myself. I distracted myself by running. It was a really motivating reason to run, and I haven't found that motivation since then.
