I need to analyze my nightly routine to see if there are opportunities to cut down time. I feel like my nightly routine takes too long, and with knowing this, I stay up even later to procrastinate getting ready to go to sleep. I may need to dig back into my industrial engineering knowledge and start looking at how efficient my nightly routine is.
I really shouldn't take sleep for granted. I was so stressed at my last job that I couldn't sleep at night. I would wake up at 4 in the morning and start thinking about work, and then I couldn't fall back asleep. This was not a good place to be in. Now that I'm at a better job, I should really take advantage of building a consistent sleep schedule.
Ideally, if I could fall asleep and wake up instantly, I would go to bed at 10 PM and wake up at 6 AM. There are more things that I want to do in the morning, and getting up at 6 AM would provide those opportunities. I will plan on making next week's Health Mission related to sleep.
