This past trading week I sold 1 share of Coca Cola.
|Company||Ticker||Buy Price||Sell Price||Difference||Dividend||Fee||% Gain|
To determine the % Gain, I used the following equation.
=(Difference + Dividend + Fee)/Buy Price.
I am planning on buying KO again to hold long term, but with KO just recently paying a dividend, I figured I could sell it and use the money to buy a stock that is paying a dividend sooner than KO. I will have fewer updates on selling stocks as I'm shifting to holding stocks long term.
I bought 3 stocks this week, 1 that I've purchased before (DE), and 2 new ones (O & USB).
|Stock||Ticker||Shares||Buy Price||Avg. Price/Share|
All three of these stocks have upcoming dividends. I also feel good about holding these stocks long term.
Below is information on my year-to-date (YTD) investing numbers.
|MITCH Investing - 2015|
|Dividend % of Gain||14.71%||15.72%|
|Overall % Gain||12.08%||11.87%|
